We are looking for a licensed nurse, placed at the special accommodation Linneberg.

Responsibilities

The work involves being responsible for health and medical care interventions in municipal healthcare. You will be responsible for both planned and acute health and medical care interventions for both younger and older patients.

As a nurse, you will independently make medical assessments, treatments, and interventions. Since patients' care needs vary, the tasks range from common interventions, such as medication management, sampling, and wound care, to more advanced interventions such as dialysis, infusions, and care of tracheostomy, CVK/venous ports, and drainage. Specialist competence is available in the areas of palliative advanced care, wound care nursing, and psychiatric coordination. We also have access to a methodology where some training is conducted. There, you can also renew your knowledge.

Together with colleagues, you work in a team to enable the best quality for those we are here for. You need to be able to work independently and make your own decisions. Being attentive and empathetic is natural for you, as is having a holistic view in working with people. Your work will mostly be during the day, but some evening and weekend shifts are included.

Qualifications

As a nurse in Värnamo Municipality, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are calm and secure and have the ability to create a positive climate. You are attentive and empathetic and find it easy to collaborate both internally and externally. You are good at planning and organizing and prioritize your work independently and effectively. Patient participation and collaboration with relatives are a given for you. Creating a good working environment built on a strong team spirit is important to us. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

When you start your position as a nurse with us, you will have an appointed supervisor. The introduction period is individual and adapted to your experiences and prior knowledge. You will also receive an experienced mentor whom you can always ask your questions.

Conditions

A valid B driver's license for a manual transmission is required.
